At Community Nursery School we believe that each child deserves the best pre-school experience we can provide. We strive to encourage children to respect life and each other, to love learning and to be all that they can be.

CNS has always been about the children. Every decision we make follows a single philosophy: the children always come first. The foundation of our philosophy starts with the placement of the children with very qualified and loving teachers who not only provide a secure learning environment but also a place to grow emotionally and socially.

The early years of a child's life are marked by rapid learning and growth. Much of this learning is acquired during the pre-school years. CNS offers the child an opportunity for new experiences and new relationships beyond what home and family can provide. Our learning environment offers opportunities for physical, social, cognitive and creative growth by providing a variety of planned and spontaneous experiences.

We believe that with careful nurturing and guidance each child will blossom at his or her own time like flowers. Some will blossom in early Spring even when snow covers their roots, others wait until June and the warm sunshine. Still others show their splendor in the Fall with vibrant and sturdy colors. Each colors our world with their beauty. We appreciate each and anticipate their contributions to our lives.
